It really does feel like Spring has officially arrived here in Port Coquitlam. We have had a beautiful stretch again of sunny, yet cool days. Haley and I have gotten out every day, going for long walks in the new Ergo Carrier. Yesterday we even headed out to the pier in New Westminster for some ice cream. Okay well maybe the ice cream was just for me. Her time will come. She actually slept the entire time. Her napping has improved; it seems at home it can be hit or miss but when we are out and about, she will clock in a good 2 to 3 hour nap with no problem. Works for me because it does wonders for her mood for the rest of the day. We still have yet to master our sleeping through the night skills….
While that little angel naps on this beautifully sunny Monday afternoon, I have wrapped up some finishing touches on baby bandana bibs that I have made. They are just so adorable and so handy for the babe when she is dribbling non-stop. We have definitely entered teething town and I already know it’s going to be a bumpy ride. The poor thing, it just kills me to see her in so much discomfort. Back to the bibs though, big help in the drool department! They also compliment her outfit with the super cute fabrics available. May plan is to build a bit of a bandana bib empire, along with hand-sewn baby blankets, and sell them to local mommies. I know that many stay at home moms are also trying to do this so there may be a teensy bit of competition! That is okay though. There is a piece of cake for everyone. =) I also can’t post without a photograph so enjoy the snaps below of Miss Hallie actually modelling one of the said bandana bibs (except it’s not showing the cute pattern because she has it kinky side out – you get the idea though!).
