Easter Fun

Like I had mentioned before, we dropped the ball on Saint Paddy’s Day. We are however very ready for Easter! Today presented a lot of rain and an impromtu pyjama day filled with many Mini Eggs chocolates and some very cute smiles from a special little lady (it would not be a normal post without pictures of my baby girl now would it?). Our large wooden dining room table is always the perfect setting for holiday decor. Here I have used mossy covered bunnies and some typical ‘Easter Grass’ to create a whimsical centrepiece. Green plants and Spring flowers are also the perfect addition on any tablescape. I picked up the cutest serving dish to house our Mini Eggs and then we have our tiny egg cup holder. Easter is full of little cute surprises. My little bunny Hallie was a ball of personality today as usual. Despite a couple chompers bearing their way through her sensitive gums, she was all smiles for most of the day. These pyjamas suit the mood perfectly with little birds printed all over them. They are actually one of her few sleepers that fit right now; growing like a weed that kid! She is only five months old and already making her way through six month sizes. Hallie is also obsessed with her new toy, Miss Kitty that I bought at Anthropologie the other day. It is quite difficult to find a stuffed toy (or ‘Lovie’) that is not filled with little beads. I am terrified that with her sucking away on anything and everything while she is teething, that one could burst open. Miss Kitty is filled with only fluff so at least it is piece of mind for Momma! She spends hours thrashing her around by the long arms and legs and chats away with Miss Kitty in her crib. Sounds that truly melt a mother’s heart. Now all we have to do is get some of our Easter baking underway!
